Burnie’s Foundation has supported the veterinary care for 48 bears rescued from the horrendously cruel bear bile farms of China. It takes a great deal of dedication, resilience, skill, compassion, patience, determination and MONEY for the bears to make the transition from being physically and psychologically broken in the bear bile farms, to reaching some level of recovery from the relentless pain and suffering they have been subjected to.
