Apart from being dangerous and cruel the streets of Romania are incredibly cold in winter. Even if homeless dogs manage to avoid the cruel dog catchers and find themselves food, there is still no guaranteeing they will survive the bitter Romanian winters where temperatures can fall to minus twenty degrees.

During 2018, we managed to rehome 271 Romanian dogs in the UK.
